By
this mid-point in the season, I expect to see
technical improvement in the dancers. They've
been at this for 10 weeks now, and they should be
able to grasp moves more easily. They've been
through the boot camp where they learn the way the
Latin dances work as opposed to how the Ballroom
dances function. They should have the rise and
fall or hip action, footwork, leg actions, arm
styling, rib-cage motion, etc., somewhat more under
control by now. There should be MORE of all
these techniques apparent in each routine that
features them.

DWTS, Season 6, Wk 5 - Could we
refine the scores a bit?
...it's time for the producers to start using
half marks so that contestants could get 8.5, 9.5,
etc. Sometimes, it seems that the judges want to
award more than 7 points, but can't quite go 8
points. As it stands now, they simply go with the
lower score when I know they wish they could give
half a point more now and then. Something for the
producers to think about...

DWTS, Season 6, Wk 4 - Where are the costume police?
And just where are the costume
police? I didn't care for Cheryl Burke's
outfit at all. I didn't like that style of outfit
when Mel B wore it last season, and I still don't
like it and don't want to see it used to represent
Ballroom dancing. Christian's outfit was just as
bad. Of course, I also think that Co-Host Samantha
should go with a more flattering style than the
totally "flattening" one she wore last night.

DWTS, Season 6, Wk 2 - Who will get the boot?
Anna Trebunskaya, Christian de la Fuente and Penn Jillette
were all a bit disrespectful to the judges. I feel
that was very unprofessional of Anna
T. I also feel that her disrespect sets a bad
example that the stars - evidently - are all too
willing to follow.

Some of the guys looked fairly "seedy", if ya know
what I mean. And what is with Madame Presley and
that hair and makeup? I'm all for the "young and
vibrant" look, but, well, that weird color in her
hair just made her look silly to me. Click here
